Stand welcome & brand ambassadors

MANCHESTER / EXHIBITION STAFFING
Plan exhibition stand staff, brand ambassadors and delegate-facing support at Manchester Central. Shape the team around your stand, your programme and your visitors.
YOUR EVENT. YOUR OBJECTIVES.
When an exhibition sits alongside a conference, staff demand can rise between sessions. Share the programme so arrival, stand welcome and break cover can be planned around delegate movement. Separate lead capture from detailed sales conversations to keep both moving.

Discuss check-in, directions, visitor questions and queue guidance. Share the event plan and agree the responsibilities for each position.
Manchester Central’s Central Hall can accommodate exhibition layouts as well as other event formats. Share your allocated hall or room and the event floor plan; a venue name alone does not tell the team where to report.

Check current access and operational arrangements with your event organiser. Staffing is subject to availability and an agreed brief.
Yes, include both in your enquiry. Specify which positions need continuous cover and when delegate arrivals or session changes create extra demand. We will discuss a suitable scope and availability.
Event name, venue, dates, working hours, number of staff and what they will do. Add any language, uniform or training requirements. If you are unsure about team size, describe the positions that need covering and we can discuss the detail.
Yes. Choose the email quotation option and share your brief. For an event less than seven days away, use an enquiry so availability can be checked directly.
Explore Envisage’s published exhibition and attraction projects at other UK venues, including the F1 Exhibition at ExCeL London and Pet Munchies at Crufts at the NEC. These demonstrate the wider group’s work; they are not project claims for Manchester Central.

EXHIBITING FROM OVERSEAS?
If your event combines a conference with an exhibition, separate registration, room guidance and stand duties. The busiest arrival period may require a different allocation from the rest of the day. Give staff a clear handover point when responsibilities change.
Share the event space, entrance and arrival instructions provided by your organiser, plus the registration system if staff will use one. Confirm who resolves badge issues, missing bookings and technical problems so these do not hold up the main welcome process.
Include session changes and break cover in the schedule. If delegates move between spaces, provide a simple room plan and agreed directions. For stand teams, set out the product briefing and the point at which a visitor should be handed to your sales specialists.
How many people? Start with the positions you need covered at the same time, then consider busy periods and breaks. Plan your headcount ↗
What hours should I book? Include required briefing and setup, not only public opening times. If cover exceeds the 13-hour shift limit, split it between shifts. Prepare for event day ↗
