What this calculation tells you
Person-hours describe the amount of staffing time in your chosen scenario. They do not tell you whether the team is large enough. For mixed roles or different shifts, calculate each group separately and add the totals.
What to agree before booking
Confirm actual shift lengths, required roles, continuous cover, briefing time, travel and management. Share the scenario with the team so the quote can reflect the work rather than just the arithmetic.
