ENVISAGE / UK EVENT TEAMS
Event registration & welcome staff
Make arrivals feel organised.
Build your staffing estimate ↗ · Request a quote ↗From the first greeting to the right destination.
Registration staff support the arrival process: checking guests against your system, issuing badges, directing queues and explaining where to go next. Welcome staff can also guide guests from the entrance to registration or onward to the right room.
Confirm the exact duties before booking. Registration support does not replace security screening, access-policy decisions or specialist technical support. Your organiser should provide a clear escalation route for disputed access, missing bookings and system problems.
Plan around the arrival peak.
A conference can have a short, intense check-in period even when it runs all day. Tell us when doors open, when the first session starts and whether arrivals are staggered. Describe the process for each guest, including badge printing, ticket scanning and any additional checks.
Separate straightforward arrivals from enquiries that take longer. Identify who can resolve missing registrations without stopping the main queue. Consider accessible routes and how guests who need extra help will be supported.
Systems, briefing and handover.
Provide the registration platform, equipment, login arrangements and a named technical contact. Arrange time to practise the check-in steps before guests arrive. Share your instructions for handling attendee information, including what may be recorded and who can access it.
Build briefing, equipment checks and any end-of-day handover into the hours you book. If registration continues throughout the day, allow for break cover and a clear handover between team members.
