The brief.
A PR agency needed approachable roadshow staff for the NHS and government Change4Life campaign. The activity encouraged families to think about healthy eating and physical activity through practical, enjoyable experiences.
What the team did.
The roadshow used garden and kitchen environments with interactive games, challenges and family quizzes. Staff welcomed people into the activity, explained how to take part and helped turn the health messages into conversations. Some roles also included data capture against the agency’s brief.
Envisage’s published account describes a programme beginning in June 2012 and continuing for four years across 50 locations. That geographical spread made consistent recruitment and individual staff briefing an important part of the delivery.
How it helped.
The agency could brief one staffing partner, who then recruited and prepared the local teams. Families had people to help them join in at each stop, while the agency had staffing support across the wider programme. The work was commissioned through a PR agency; it is not presented as a direct NHS contract.
THE WORK IN CONTEXT
Delivered through a PR agency for the historical Change4Life campaign; this is not a claim of a direct NHS contract.
