Understand selection, profiles, specialist skills and continuity across a longer booking.
How do you choose the staff for my booking?
We start with the work you need done. James, Faith, Megan, Jaden and Karen form the recruitment team matching people to your brief.
Separate essential skills from preferences. “Explain a technical product to trade buyers” is more useful than “confident and friendly”. Tell us the audience, tasks, languages and supervision available, plus what success looks like.
Choose “I want to approve my staff” when booking, at no extra charge. We’ll send a shortlist matched to your brief, rather than a large selection to work through.
Please approve profiles within 48 hours. After that, we’ll choose the most suitable people for you. The number of profiles varies with your brief and availability; staff can accept other work while you decide. You can also let Envisage choose your team—we know our people well and take pride in matching them to your event.
Make continuity a priority in your brief. For longer runs, a consistent pool can be more practical than expecting every person to cover every shift.
Identify the roles where product knowledge matters most. Plan handovers, rest days and repeat briefing so standards do not depend on one individual. Share the full schedule early, including setup and training days.
Can I request bilingual staff or specialist knowledge?
Yes, include the language, level and task in your enquiry so suitability and availability can be discussed.
Welcoming visitors in another language is different from interpreting a technical negotiation. Explain whether you need conversation, product demonstrations, written translation or specialist interpreting. Give examples of what staff will need to understand and say.
Define the activity and the result you want. Greeting visitors, qualifying leads and closing sales are different roles.
Agree the questions to ask, the product training, how leads are captured and when to hand over to your sales team. Staffing is one part of an event’s results; do not treat a headcount as a guarantee of a particular sales total.
